2004 A meeting to reestablish the Michigan Chapter of the RWCS is held. Wolverine Chapter is decided on as the new name of the chapter. Those who have joined before the end of 2004 will be considered charter members. Charles Cotton volunteers to act as President of the Chapter for the first year. |
2005 Design for the Chapter banner is decided upon. By-laws are approved. President, Terry Speedy receives the Chapter Charter at Convention. Newsletter is to be published after each meeting (including Convention). |
2007 A.H.Eddy beater jar is chosen as the 2007 commemorative. A quilt square showing a mitten and scarf on a blue background is created for the RWCS quilt. Buttons sell out at Convention. Sue Speedy elected President. Chapter discusses the possibility of a website. Window clings are still available |
2008 An advertising grey-line pitcher is this year’s commemorative. The fall meeting will be a joint meeting with the Indiana Chapter in Goshen IN. Judy Corkins presents each member attending the spring meeting with an embroidered Wolverine Chapter napkin. |
2009 2009 was the year of good times and kohlrabi. Our commemorative, a replica of a Chocolate Cooler Co. jar, most likely made to hold ice cream, was inspired by shards from the Red Wing dump. |

2010 The “little brown jug”, symbolic of the football rivalry between the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota, was the basis for our chapter’s 2010 commemorative. Dino Fire presents members attending the fall meeting with embroidered “Red Wing Collector” tote bags. |
